05.30.14: 2014 Season Closes with Baseball Banquet The Wylie Pirates wrapped up their 2013-14 baseball season with at their annual Awards Banquet. Wylie Senior, Dylan Riley, was named to the 2014 All-District second team as an outfielder. Andrew Spencer, Sophomore, was also named to the second All-District team as a catcher. Nicholas Dayton, Tyler Graham and Bradley Marquez all received Honorable Mentions as Pitchers. Sophomore, Kolby Hass, also received an Honorable Mention at Second Base. Senior, Kenny Garza, was presented the AHMO award for outstanding character and sportsmanship. Dylan Riley and Andrew Spencer were named Co-Offensive Players of the year. Nick Dayton and Bradley Marquez shared the Co-Defensive Players of the year honors. Senior, Tyler Graham, was named the team MVP.
The Wylie Pirates Baseball Program awarded three Jim Marquez Memorial Scholarships to Kenny Garza, Tyler Graham and Bradley Marquez.

02.04.2014: Spring Season Kick-off The Wylie Pirates Varsity and Jr. Varsity teams kicked off the season with scrimmages against Sachse and Jesuit.
